Lots of updates for this coming week before we go on break :) Take a look below:
Some of your children should have come home with yearbook photos today. Your child must have placed an order to receive a large envelope of finished photographs.
Your child has been practicing their passwords to log-in to ST Math. I've attached a flyer in your email describing what ST Math is. It is a math program they will be using in all grades at BES, so they are getting a head start. They must log-in to their Bonsall Portal to access ST Math from home. Their username is their Student ID and their password is their birthdate (i.e. July 30, 1989 password is 07301989.) If you do NOT have your child's Student ID, please email me, and I will give it to you :)
PLAY DATE: EMERGENCY CARD and PROPER ETIQUETTE
If your child is having a play date with another child and the other parent is planning on picking them up, that parent picking your child up MUST BE ON THE EMERGENCY CARD! Please plan ahead by going to the office and adding anyone who picks up your child on the emergency card. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
* Also, if your child has a play date with another child, please talk with your child that--while it is exciting--we do not need to tell the whole class because some feelings may get hurt. You can also talk with your child that it's ok if we don't have a play date. It doesn't mean that we aren't friends. Some feelings have been hurt because they are not invited. If you could please have a talk with your child, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
BDAY FOOD REQUEST FORMS
Just another friendly reminder that if you are planning to bring food for your child's birthday, you MUST fill out a food request form 5 DAYS PRIOR to the event. Thank you!
Hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. Stay warm, and have your child wear a jacket. It's pretty chilly in the morning! Thanks again for all that you do, and get ready for Thanksgiving break!
