About Miss Fiscus

Hello! My name is Kristina Fiscus. I am an exuberant, dedicated, and caring young lady, and I am THRILLED to be your child’s AM Transitional Kindergarten teacher! I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with an Authorization to teach English Learners; I earned my major in Liberal Studies, minor in Visual and Performing Arts, and a depth of study in Arts and Education. I have a strong passion for integrating arts into education and have dreamed of becoming a teacher since I was four (your child’s age right now!)

Some other passions of mine include (but not limited to): volunteering, being outdoors, anything having to do with the arts, volleyball, soccer, running, yoga, gym, creating collages, bargain shopping, sleeping, listening to music, reading, movies, spending time with my loved ones, going to the ocean, theatrical/musical plays, comedy, museums, playing piano…and the list goes on!

A huge ambition of mine is to travel. First, I would like to start my adventures with a road trip throughout CA (I have never been to the snow, LA, Hollywood, San Fran, National Parks…this list goes on as well!) After CA, I would LOVE to travel the states and other countries to get a taste of life outside of my own. I am intrigued by new experiences, thoughts/ideas, and meeting ambitious, passionate, and life-loving people. I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I hope to make your child one, too :)

Update: My Summer of 2019
I've been on many adventures since my above "blurb." Enjoy this snapshot slideshow, and feel free to check out a little summary of my "Summer Adventures" in the "TK News" section if you're interested. ENJOY :)
